IESE Professor Joaquim Vilà will be moderating a round table of leading company representatives to discuss creative problem solving through design thinking.

Design thinking is a human-centered approach that integrates the needs and desires of users with the possibilities of technology and the requirements of businesses. Significantly deviating from traditional methods, it is gaining wide acceptance in the business world to creatively solve complex, unstructured and wicked problems. Yet implementing design thinking requires a change in the way people operate, and many business professionals experience confusion and frustration when engaging in design thinking projects for the first time.

This session will be of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about this new managerial competence and connect with our Pacific Southwest IESE community.
